proprioceptive writing
Proprioceptive writing , I discover with this book called “ writing the mind alive” by two authors.
You believe , writing alive is only an idea. It’s a writing practice like no other. It’s a new method to have a writing with more creative and alive .
Generally , the writing is flat and without rhythm when we begin to write.
two extracts of book.
extract n°1:
practicing on your own
first, you need to get comfortable being alone with yourself.
You need to create a sense of solitude.
look at this absorption as prayer space, meditation space, art-making space, anything that helps you thirst for that solitude in which you can hear yourself think. this is your sanctuary.
extract n°2:
by writing you slow thought down , find its emotional context in experience , and give yourself the chance to feel its meaning.
for us, this is a spiritual process , because in examining the language of your thought for its associated images and meanings you elevate self-exploration to a form of holy contemplation.
Week by Week , month by month , you observe the process by which your own mind expands.
writing is practice every day and all time like the free writing . writing , It requires mental preparation and a good condition in order to bring your writng project to fruition. The mind helps in order to channel concentration and put itself in a writing state as if the words come like to tell its own story. Everyone has their own method of inspiration . The most important thing is condition that allows you to set a rhythm , to have your own style writing and develop it .
